- Trade Dress Variant – Limited to 3,000 copies
- Virgin Variant – Limited to 1,000 copies

Why Jeff The Land Shark?
I've always wanted to create an Amazing Spider-Man cover, but I didn’t have a clear vision until this exclusive. I knew I wanted to feature a unique team-up that hadn’t been done before, and Jeff The Land Shark was the perfect choice.
While Jeff has appeared on covers before, very few have placed him as the main focus or showcased him working alongside another hero. Added onto that with Jeff finally hitting the mainstream in Marvel Rivals, I felt now was the time to pull this off. I was particularly inspired by a reprint cover by Jeff’s main comic artist, Gurihiru, but I wanted to create a more action-focused dynamic between Jeff and Spider-Man.
Finding The Right Artist . . .
Choosing the right artist was a challenge. Many talented Marvel artists have drawn Spider-Man, but very few have depicted Jeff The Land Shark. I wanted someone who could bring both characters to life vibrantly and dynamically.
After researching several artists, I landed on Junggeun Yoon because of his incredible use of color and energy. While he had never drawn Jeff before, I could clearly envision his style bringing the concept to life. There were several artists I would've loved to work with and had been fans of prior, but didn't feel like they could pull off Jeff well. With Jungeeun here are some of the exact covers that convinced me:
Thankfully, Junggeun agreed to take on this project, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. I look forward to working with him again in the future!
Trade vs. Virgin Variant – Why Should I Get Both?
While this is my first exclusive with Marvel, it's also the first exclusive where I've had more than one variant for the cover.
Rather than simply removing the logo, I wanted to make sure the Trade and Virgin variants felt distinct yet complementary. After analyzing other retailer exclusives, I found that the best Trade/Virgin sets offered more than just a logo difference.
- The Trade Variant features a detailed city background, adding depth and context.
- The Virgin Variant has a simpler background, making the characters and webbing stand out more - while additionally adding to the sense of speed to the cover.
While I'm obviously biased, I think the contrast makes it a more appealing Trade and Virgin set than it would be otherwise, with each cover complimenting the other.
